Rocky, Reecho, and I (1)

Rocky is a successful man. When He was a teenager, he had a dream, “Someday, I want to be a rich man,” he said. He didn’t care about his study; all of the priority is working to get lots of money. He’ll do everything to attain what he wants. Nowadays, he has a big company that focuses on furniture. The company is very famous in Blitar east java and he is called as the luckiest man. Reecho, his close friend, stays not far from Rockies’ company. He feels surprise because of his friend’s achievement. But what he feels is contradictory with the society’s opinion. The society disagrees with the Rockies’ way. Why?

According to one of the society’s statement, Rocky has done an illegal logging. He has smuggled the wood from Indonesia’s forest to abroad. He gets much many because of that business. Ironically, he did it not only by himself but also cooperates with a policeman.

In the beginning, Reecho didn’t know what Rocky actually did, but as the time goes on, he understood Rockies’ act. He regrets because Rockies’ way is really spotting Indonesian nation, and he also disappoints with a police’s way as jurisdictional enforcer. “If I became a policeman, I would be an upright person when I uphold the truth,” he muttered.

Regarding to that case, in my opinion, Rocky basically didn’t aware of the effect from what he has done. He uses all tricks to get what he dreamed. That wrong act will cause landslide because it would be leafless forest. And then a river will be jammed and when rainy season comes the flood will automatically be happened because a river is shallow. We can’t enjoy our life if the disaster really happens. So, we have to stick together to stop all of nature destruction. Just the blunt men or stuffs like that aren’t wanting to save the world from any disaster. [ubaid]
